New Year, New Me.

Why do we often feel the urge to make changes when the year resets?

For me, New Year's resolutions give me the excitement that comes with a fresh start. Clean slate, new chapter begins, voila. A new year can mean new goals. New goals can shape a better year ahead. Checkin on yourself and try to see where there is room for self-improvement, self-care, and reinvention.

3 Simple Reminders as we dive into 2025:

  1. Nothing is ever perfect. It's okay if things don't go perfectly

  2. It’s a marathon, not a sprint ;) Progress rather than perfection

  3. Set goals. SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound

💫FIND THE GLIMMERS💫
Moments in your day that make you feel joy, happiness, peace, or gratitude. Focusing on these glimmers can help increase mindfulness and resilience, as they create moments of joy or contentment in everyday life. For example mine include…

Nature's Beauty: hearing birds chirp or seeing a beautiful sunset // Nostalgia: a familiar smell or sound that brings back pleasant memories. My favorite is the smell of a doll I would bring to the beach house - she smelled like a sweet rose // A Moment of Peace: hot coffee in bed + sipping it while the sun hits my face

Never be afraid to dream big but remember to write down your goals so you can look back and reflect on your achievements. Micro goals are majorly important as well. Don’t be afraid to fail—without taking the chance, success will always remain out of reach. Wishing you all a Happy New Year, my friends! 🥳
